For our final projct this year, students spent 3 weeks working on a presentation. The topic of the presentation was assigned to them by Mrs. White.
Students had to complete the following prior to presenting their presentations to their class:
Write a statement about why their topic is important.
Write a statement about how their topic applies to real life.
Write out steps to complete their topic on sticky notes.
Put the steps from the sticky notes in order.
Type out their steps.
Add all of the above information into a cohesive Google Slides presentation.
The final step of their project was presenting to their class. Their goal was to TEACH their peers the skill they were assigned because being able to teach a skill is proof that a person knows it! They did AMAZING and they had a blast doing it!
(Although I'm pretty sure they learned that while they *all* could do these problems independently on paper....it's much harder to communicate each step to the room...and errors happen!)
Below are the videos of their presentations! And at the very bottom there are some random pictures of them working on their projects!
