In 2nd Block this week, we talked about Graphs. We learned how to read information from a graph.
We read a chapter from our curriculum about what rights are and what rights we have as US citizens and students at a school.
Then, students had to go around the class and survey their classmates and teachers on their favorite right. After they gathered the information from their survey, students made a graph of the information. Then, they used the graph to answer questions.
We also learned how to find the MEAN of a set of numbers. (And that mean means average!) Kyra learned so quickly she got up and taught Mrs. Epps about it on the board!
This week we also talked about our Solar System. After learning about the sun and planets, we went outside to model how the planets orbit the sun!
