Final Oral Reports

For our final oral reports this year, everyone was ASSIGNED a topic.  This was the first time their topic has not been self-selected. Due to this, students had to research their topic before they could create their presentation.  Students in 1st Block researched a city, and students in 2nd Block researched a job.  They had certain requirements for each topic, and then they had to make a presentation that included a theme, certain pictures, and 7 pages.  Our students worked SO HARD on these reports, and their hard work paid off!  We even had one student who stood up in front of the class for the first time all year....and one 8th grader who was with us from the middle school who got up in front of everyone to do his!
