Mrs. Locke 

My name is Mrs. Locke and I am the Career Development Facilitator at BHP. I received my undergraduate degree in Education with a minor in Business from The College of Charleston . Before becoming the CDF at BHP, I spent the first 12 years at our district's Career and Technology Center.  In that position I worked to recruit and inform students from the districts partnering high schools by sharing the numerous opportunities available within the ACTC programs.  In 2016, I was honored with the South Carolina Department of Education Career Specialist of the Year Award. 

As the Career Development Facilitator at BHP,  I work not only to share college information and opportunities with our students, I am also passionate about Career and Workforce education. I take pride in building strong partnerships with our surrounding business and industry partners that provide jobs to our graduates. By introducing students our students to these opportunities it helps them to make the connections they need for their post-graduation plans.  

I want to give our students the skills they can use to help them succeed in school, reach their educational goals and prepare them for their future.   I cannot wait to work with all of our students at BHP this year and help them discover their passion and interests!
