An apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with related classroom instruction, all under the supervision of a journey-level professional. Apprentices get paid while they learn and develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new career field. Eligible apprentices can receive money to cover costs associated with their apprenticeship program.
Some apprenticeships are very competitive and difficult to get into. Consider doing a Pre-Apprenticeship Program. Here are two programs - ANEW and Advanced Manufacturing Skills Center (AMSC).
