IMPORTANT DATES:
Every Wednesday- College Day- Have your child wear his or her favorite college shirt and/or hat to school
Every Friday- School Spirit day! Cheerleaders are selling tattoos for 50 cents. Please wear your Anderson school shirts!
9-26-19- Thursday- Hooty Store day!
10-2-19- Monday- Fall Picture Day
10-4-19- Friday- Fall Festival 5:30-8:00
10-11-19- Friday- Parent Teacher Conference - Half day of school!
- Please Don't forget while you're out this weekend to get a "Grilling item" for our 3rd grade basket. All donations are appreciated!

What's Happening in Class:
MATH/Science/SS- Mrs. Bay & Mrs. Oller
Math
We will start Topic 3 on Monday! Topic 3 is so much easier! Adding and subtracting whole numbers. Your child will learn how to subtract across the zero! This is hard for them, but after this topic your child will be awesome at this! Your child will have homework on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday of this week.
If your child scored below a 70% on their Topic 2 test please sign their test and return and we will reteach and re-test on Monday.
Science
We are working on Mixtures this week and Forms of Energy. Your child will bring home a science book to keep at home to have for a resource for you as a family.
Reading/Writing- Mrs. Cawthon & Mrs. Hulsman
ELAR
This week we will look at Information Text Features and reading about Living in the Deserts. Our vocabulary words are shield, lack, exposure, nomadic, and landscape. Spelling words this week are:
