Description:
In French Beginner/Intermediate levels, students are able to develop basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The methods of instruction include games, modeling of the language, role-playing, and basic reading and writing practice. Differentiation is used to accommodate the needs of all students at the beginning and intermediate level. At the end of grade 5, students should be able to use French for basic communication both orally and in writing, understand and follow simple instructions in French, and recognize some French cultural practices.
Pre-Kindergarten : For our youngest learners, the language classes adopt play-based learning approaches. Therefore, the instructional method is centered around games, songs, and other age-appropriate play for language acquisition.
