Comparing Prices
If you have a toy catalogue at home, choose 10 items and put them in order according to their price, lowest to highest. Or make your own play toy shop. Put the prices on your toys and practise counting out coins to pay for them.
Data Handling
Collect sticks, stones, feathers and rubbish in your garden or on a walk. Make a tally chart to show the quantity of each type of object found. Can you show this information in a line graph or bar chart
Top Trumps
Make a set of top trump cards. Choose a theme that interests you. Play your game with a partner and practise comparing numbers using the vocabulary 'greater than' and 'less than'. e.g. 587 is greater than 324, so my tiger beats your dog.
Share Your Knowledge
Make a poster explaining everything you know about a topic you have been learning in Maths, e.g. fractions. You should include visuals such as diagrams and pictures as well as text.
Symmetry
Build your understanding of reflective symmetry by completing one of these animal faces. You could use a mirror to help you visualise the other half.
3D Shape Nets
Using paper or card, make nets of 3D shapes and build the shapes.
