Reading resources used in school to support and challenge our pupils.

Pupils throughout the school are taught the various comprehension and reading skills, this resource engages the pupils and encourages a love of reading.
The children have daily literacy lessons, four times a week they will learn phonics/spelling and the skills required to read and write. Once a week the children will have a focused writing lesson.
Currently the school use the Read, Write Inc. scheme as a resource to teach the children in P1-3, Wraparound Spelling in P4-6 and Morphgraphical Awareness in P7.
