岡田 将 Masaru Okada ピアニスト
桐朋女子高等学校音楽科（男女共学）在学中に日本音楽コンクール優勝。モーツァルテウム音楽院、ベルリン国立芸術大学に留学。97年 ベルリンで行われたアルトゥール・シュナーベルコンクール第一位とスタインウェイ賞を受賞。 99年 オランダのリスト国際ピアノコンクールにて日本人として初めて優勝。ドイツ国内を中心にオランダ、ベルギー、ロンドン、ＮＹ、ジュネーブ、チューリッヒでリサイタル、ゾルタン・コチシュ指揮ハンガリー国立管弦楽団と共演し大成功を収めた。また、ラインガウ音楽祭やバイロイト音楽祭でも高い評価を得た。ベルリンでは、ラジオ・ライヴ公開録音にも出演し活躍している。
リスト生誕200周年の2011年には東京と神戸でオール・リスト3回シリーズを開催。13年にはバッハ：パルティータ全6曲を一晩で演奏し高い評価を得た。14年から2年間にわたるベートーヴェン：ピアノソナタ全32曲シリーズ（全8回）を開催。18年にはリスト：超絶技巧練習曲全曲コンサートを開催し、音楽ファンに衝撃を与えた。また、同年、スペインの巨匠チェリスト ルイス・クラレットとの共演でCD『ベートーヴェン：チェロ・ソナタ全集』（オクタヴィア／レコード芸術準特選盤）をリリース。高い評価を得ている。
現在、神戸女学院大学准教授、エリザベト音楽大学客員教授。また国際コンクールなどの審査員を多数務めている。
Masaru Okada Pianist
Masaru Okada won the first prize at The Music Competition of Japan while a student at Toho Gakuen Music High School (coeducational), and went on to study at The Mozarteum University and The Berlin University of the Arts. In 1997, he won the first prize and the Steinway Prize at the Artur Schnabel Competition in Berlin. In 1999, he became the first Japanese to win first prize atLiszt International Piano Competition in the Netherlands. He gave recitals in Germany, Holland, Belgium, London, New York, Geneva, and Zurich, and performed with great success with the Hungarian National Orchestra conducted by Zoltán Kocsis. He also received high acclaim at the Rheingau Festival and the Bayreuth Festivals. In Berlin, he has also been active in radio live public recordings.
In 2011, the bicentennial of Liszt's birth, he held a series of three all-Liszt concerts in Tokyo and Kobe; in 2013, he performed all six Bach Partitas in one evening to great acclaim; in 2014, he held a two-year series of all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas (8 concerts); in 2006, he performed the Liszt Super-Exercise Practice in the “Liszt: Piano Sonata Series. In 2006, he gave a concert of all the Liszt's Transcendante Etudes, which was a great hit with music fans. In the same year, he released the CD “Beethoven: Complete Cello Sonatas” (Octavia/Record Geijutsu Semi-Special Edition) with the Spanish cellist Lluis Claret. The CD is highly acclaimed. He is currently an associate professor at Kobe College and a visiting professor at Elisabeth University of Music. He has served as a jury member for many international competitions.
