中桐望

岡山県岡山市に生まれ、3歳よりヤマハ音楽教室でピアノを始める。

加えて作・編曲やアンサンブルについても経験・知識・感性を深め、中学・高校を通じて吹奏楽も体験する中（中学ではクラリネット、高校では打楽器を担当）、ピアノへの思いをさらに強くし、岡山県立岡山城東高等学校を経て、東京藝術大学音楽学部器楽科ピアノ専攻へと進学。在学中にはアリアドネ・ムジカ賞を、また首席で卒業時にはアカンサス賞、安宅賞、大賀典雄賞、同声会賞、三菱地所賞などを受賞して注目された。

2010年には東京藝術大学大学院へと進み、2013年3月に首席で修了。クロイツァー賞、大学院アカンサス賞、藝大クラヴィーア大賞を受賞。大学院修了後は国外のマスタークラスを受講しながら研鑽を積み、2014年1月にはパリのサル・コルトーにおいてリサイタルを行い、パリ楽壇へデビュー。同年4月には故郷の岡山ルネスホール、名古屋の宗次ホール、東京の浜離宮朝日ホールでデビュー・リサイタルを行い、バッハ＝ブゾーニ、シューマン、ブラームス、ショパン、ラフマニノフといった作品を鮮やかに演奏して好評を博した。

2014年秋より、ロームミュージックファンデーション奨学生として、ポーランドのビドゴシチ音楽院研究科へ留学。

2015年1月にはデビューCD『ショパン＆ラフマニノフ』（オクタヴィア・レコード）がリリースされ、そのリリース記念として同年の3月〜4月に東京・名古屋・大阪・岡山・愛媛などでリサイタル・ツアーを開催。特に東京の浜離宮朝日ホールでのオール・ショパンプログラムの演奏が高く評価され、2015年度の日本ショパン協会賞に選ばれる。2019年、セカンドアルバム『ショパンの歌』(オクタヴィア・レコード)リリース。これからの活躍が楽しみなピアニストの一人として、音楽ファンおよび音楽評論家・ジャーナリスト等から期待を寄せられている。これまでに岡山フィルハーモニック管弦楽団、関西フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、藝大フィルハーモニア、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、東京交響楽団、日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、Orquestra Simfonica del Valles(スペイン)等、多数オーケストラと共演する他、国内外でのリサイタルや音楽祭に出演。

ピアノを内山優子、近藤邦彦、平川真理、芦田田鶴子、大野眞嗣、角野裕、エヴァ・ポブウォツカの各氏に、ピアノデュオを角野裕氏、室内楽を岡山潔、伊藤恵の各氏に師事。また、菅野潤、ディーナ・ヨッフェ、アンナ・マリコヴァ、アンジェイ・ヤシンスキ、ボイチェフ・ジュヴィタワ、フィリップ・ジュジアーノ、アンドレイ・ピサレフ、パーヴェル・ネルセシアン、マリア・ジョアン・ピリスなど各氏のマスタークラスを受講。

2016年秋にポーランド留学を終えて帰国、現在は岡山を拠点に国内で演奏活動を行うほか、後進の指導にも力を注いでいる。日本ショパン協会正会員。

Nozomi NAKAGIRI

was born in Okayama prefecture and started studying piano at the age of 3. She finished the undergraduate program with the honor of graduation as top of the class of Tokyo University of the Arts, faculty of music, department of piano. During the undergraduate program, she was awarded Ariadne Musica award, and on graduation with quite a few awards such as Acanthus Music prize, Ataka prize, Norio Oga prize, Douseikai prize, and the Mitsubishi Estate prize. Her graduation awards include the honors of performing at Geidai Morning Concerts, and performing with Geidai Philharmonic Orchestra at the occasions of the new graduate concerts. She also appeared on stages of concerts featuring distinguished artists such as Douseikai Fresh Artists’ Concert, Yamaha Music College Festival 2010, Geidai Arts in Tokyo Marunouchi Concert in honor of the Mitsubishi Estate prize. Later she proceeded and finished the post-graduate program with the honor of graduation as top of the class of Tokyo University of the Arts, for this time also being awarded with the Kreutzer prize, Graduate School Acanthus Music prize and Geidai Clavier Grand prize.

Ms. Nakagiri has a brilliant  and competitive music career of a professional level with the grand prize of the 17th Suita Music Competition, the second place of the 78th Japan Music Concour, the second place of the 3rd International Rosario Marciano Piano Competition at Vienna together with the Sonja Huber prize which is to award the best performer of the Competition’s commissioned work, the second place of the 58th "Maria Canals" Barcelona International Musical Execution Competition together with the audience prize, the semi-finalist and Alink-Argerich Foundation Prize of the 15th Grieg Competition | The International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition at Bergen, Norway. Of note, Ms. Nakagiri won the second place of the 8th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, which made her appeal to the music scenes as she was the second place winner of this extremely competitive piano concour to be awarded the second place Japanese. Ms. Nakagiri has also been active in piano duo concerts, as exemplified by her winning the grand prize of the 17th Suita Music Concour, piano duo category in 2013, and the grand prize of the 18th International Schubert Piano Duo Concour at the Czech Republic together with the the Schubert prize in the same year.

She has also appeared as a soloist in piano concertos with orchestras including Okayama Philharmonic Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Geidai Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquestra Simfonica del Valles, Spain, and others. Her activities are expanding more in her solo recitals and stages of music festivals in the international arena as well as domestic arena.

Starting in 2014, Ms. Nakagiri stayed in Poland to widen her horizon with the honorable scholarship of Rohm Music Foundation, and one of the outcomes showed up as CD debut “Chopin and Rachmaninoff” released from Octavia in 2015. In celebration of the release, she held a recital tour in Japan staging Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Okayama. This “All Chopin Program” recitals gained high evaluations and awarded the Chopin prize by the Frédéric Chopin Society of Japan in 2015. She has been thus attracting a huge crowd of music lovers, music critiques and music journalists, who all have a high hope for Ms. Nakagiri.

So far, she studied piano with Yuko Uchiyama, Kunihiko Kondo, Mari Hirakawa, Tazuko Ashida, Shinji Ono, Yu Kakuno and Ewa Poblocka, and piano duo with Yu Kakuno, chamber music with Kiyoshi Okayama and Kei Ito.
