2024-2025 Town Hall Schedule
This year school leadership will be hosting a series of Town Hall meetings focusing on a variety of school related topics. The first Town Hall will focus on 2023-2024 School Testing Data. Come and learn about Growth vs Proficiency, how the State determines letter grades, and why it is so exciting that we Exceeded Growth last year.

Boosterthon is almost here!
Our school goal is $20,000 which will be used for gym padding, turf for the playground, and other playground improvements!

Spring Chorus Concert:
Our ARS Middle School Chorus will have their Spring Concert on Tuesday, March 4th at 6:30PM in our ARS Gym. We hope to see you there!
Spring Sports Updates:
Middle School Girls Soccer (6th-8th)
Our First Game is Tuesday, March 4th at 4PM! Please join us at the Statesville Soccer Complex to support our Lady Grypons!
Staff vs. Student Game!!!
Its another exciting year of great basketball and fun as we host our annual Staff vs. Student game on Thursday, March 6th.
Girls Game 4PM Boys Game 5PM Cost: $5/ $2 for ARS students
Uniform Policy
Please ensure that your child is following our Dress Code Policy. Many students are changing upon their arrival to school and/ or arriving out of uniform. Students must wear an ARS jacket once inside the school building. In addition, sneakers only are required. Boots, crocs, slides, and other shoes are prohibited as it is a safety concern.
Gryphon Academy
Gryphon Academy begins on Saturday, March 8th from 9-11:45AM. These invitation only supports for students were sent out by classroom teachers last month. For more information or questions about Gryphon Academy, please contact tai.mcmiller@arsnc.org.

Get ready for a fun-filled Dr. Seuss Week as we celebrate with themed dress-up days! Date: March 3-7th (Read Across America Week).
Monday – Fox in Socks
Wear your silliest or mismatched socks!
Tuesday – Cat in the Hat
Rock your favorite hat—the wackier, the better!
Wednesday – Green Eggs and Ham
Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character or wear green!
Thursday – Put Me in the Zoo
Show off your wild side in animal print!
Friday – My Many Colored Days
Wear as many colors as you can—be bold and bright!
