What is Flipgrid?
Flipgrid is a two way conversation tool that allows students to respond directly to prompts with videos and photos. You can add backgrounds like
Boards: Use backgrounds like graph paper, lined, dotted paper (we heard you, math teachers!) or cork boards. Enjoy split-screen recording, with your video on one side and a board on the other!
Creative Fonts: We announced eight new fonts to help your learners express their creativity.
New Filters: We’ve added several new filters, from new color gradients to privacy filters like Block-mode.
Frames: Add some flair to your videos with custom frames, including neon, news, or a jungle courtesy of our friends at Microsoft Education!

How to Access Flipgrid
To create a Flipgrid, begin by visiting www.flipgrid.com or by downloading the Flipgrid app to your smartphone or tablet. When you are setting up an account, make sure you indicate that you are an educator!
Flipgrids can be set up to add students:
(a) individually, or
(b) by email (@arps.org addresses), which also has a Guest password for "friends and family."
