Miss Sydnee

I am so excited to join ARPS for the 24-25 school year! Over the last 15 years, I have taught over 200 private violin, viola, and piano students, and taught music theory and piano technique at the Utah Piano Conservatory. I currently manage the annual Vivace Family Music Camp, am getting my Master’s, and gig around New England. 

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Instrumental Music Education: K-12. I spent a lot of time in public schools during my undergrad and quickly fell in love with teaching orchestra! I will graduate in May 2025 with my Master’s in Violin Performance and Certificates in Orchestral Conducting and Music Theory Pedagogy from UMass Amherst. When I’m not practicing, doing homework, studying, or lesson-planning, I spend my time cooking, sewing, reading, or FaceTiming my nieces and nephews. 

Fun Facts about Miss Sydnee:

-I grew up in Las Vegas

-I played in the orchestra for an album with Lea Salonga, who is the singing voice of Jasmine and Mulan, and I’ve performed with Paige O’Hara, who is the voice of Belle

-I have a one-eyed cat named Lucy

-I have soloed at Carnegie Hall and Disney Hall
