Ms. Templeton-Band
I joined the Amherst Elementary Instrumental Music team in 2019 after several years of teaching elementary and middle school band, as well as elementary general music in other districts. I teach band at Crocker Farm, Wildwood, and Fort River Schools.
I attended UMass Amherst for undergraduate and graduate school, which is what brought me to the area from New York City where I grew up. I am a Trombonist, but love to play all the instruments.
I am truly looking forward to making music with the students at our wonderful schools. My goal in lessons and rehearsals is to leave the students feeling excited and confident about playing their instruments, and wanting to try more skills on their instruments. I am honored to be a part of each student’s musical journey.
