Get out and garden in your home or out in your community. Try planting lots of different plants and vegetables and create a unique space for you and your family to enjoy. Also make sure to visit the Canadian Wildlife Federation at gardeningforwildlife.ca so that you can certify your garden and help make a difference for the wildlife in your community.
Do you like picking fruit with your family? If so today is great for you. See if you can find some local rhubarb bushes in your area that you can go pick from. When you're done, take it home and use it to make a tasty dessert. If there is no rhubarb nearby you to pick from, take a trip to the grocery to pick some up so that you too can make a tasty dessert for the whole family.
Have you been itching to try a new recipe you found online but haven't been able to find the time? Now is the perfect opportunity to do so. If you have not had your eye on anything special recently we encourage you to find something new!
Take the leftovers from the recipe you made yesterday and have yourself a backyard picnic or picnic in the park. If you don't have any leftovers pack some of your favourite snacks instead and enjoy eating outdoors.
