Starting July 1, 2026 all CAPS counseling services will be available at no cost to main campus students. Assistance funding is available to help offset the cost to access services before the July 1st launch date. Note: Psychiatry, the ADHD Clinic, and IOP will continue to have a cost after July 1st.
The CAPS website will be updated during the summer to reflect these changes.
Honors: If you want to take any of the introductory courses for honors credit, please complete this linked form (Request Honors Credit for Acc. Intro Physics Course), and the advisors will switch you to the honors section in August.
SCI200 is instructed by the College of Science Career Center team and is designed to inform students about professional development planning to accommodate students at different levels of professional development readiness. Professional Development involves more than just choosing and entering industry, continuing education, or research pathway. It also includes a self-assessment of values, interests, and skills; an understanding of the steps in the professional development decision-making process; and learning the necessary transferable skills to succeed in industry, research, or academia. This is a 1-unit, in-person course that meets once per week for 50 minutes.
