Join us for some delicious food as we network with each other in a casual environment. Vegan, vegetarian, and GF options available. We invite all students-- undergrads (regardless of year) and grad students -- in Astro, LPL, or Physics.
We'll share information about the 2026-27 TIMESTEP programs. These are PAID positions!
Summer Tech Internship- current 3rd or 4th year students graduating in December
Research Apprenticeship- current 1st year students eligible
Astronomical Software Engineering- current 2nd or 3rd year students eligible
Technical Internships in the Physical Sciences for University of Arizona Students
Deadline: March 8th at midnight
The TIMESTEP Summer Tech Internship Program offers PAID 20 hour/week internships for undergraduate STEM majors at the University of Arizona to gain industry experience in small- to mid-sized companies. Interns are supported by their employer supervisor and TIMESTEP to ensure success.
Projects generally focus on, but aren’t limited to:
Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and AI tools
Hardware development, mechanical design & optimization of instrumentation or robotics
Software and website development
