Horizon

Welcome to my website. My name is Kimberly Mack and I am the Horizon/GT teacher for Hilltop Elementary and Argyle Intermediate schools. I absolutely love working with these amazing students and feel blessed everyday that I get to collaborate with and facilitate the learning of these special children. This is my 9th year to teach in Argyle Schools and before coming to Argyle, I taught at Donald Elementary in Flower Mound, Texas. I have taught third grade, fifth grade, have been an assistant principal, and landed back in the classroom to teach gifted and talented students!

I designed my website to help both parents and teachers meet the needs of this special group of learners. For parents, I will update the grade level tabs with information regarding our unit of study and the progress we are making. For teachers, I hope you find some ideas and information that you can easily use in the classroom to differentiate activities, create rigor, and increase student engagement. Under the Parent/Teacher resource tab, you will find information on the nature and needs of gifted children as well as requirements for instruction and learning opportunities.
