Bulletin Board Display
Information regarding library activities for information updates of the library clientele is posted on the bulletin.
Current Awareness Services/New Acquisitions
Copies of lists of newly acquired books for circulation are disseminated to the Deans of all Colleges and Principal. These are also regularly posted in the bulletin board. Newly acquired books are displayed in the New Acquisitions Corner of each section/unit of the library. Students and faculty members are welcome to browse over the collection.
Library Instruction / Orientation
Library instruction/orientation for new students is given at the start of each school year. Library tours and lectures about library organization and its services are examples of the instructional/orientation programs of the library.
Library Tour/Bench Marking
AUJRC has engaged in innovative approaches to library orientation, including virtual tours. For instance, the campus has showcased a Minecraft virtual tour created by its ICT students, demonstrating a commitment to integrating technology into learning experiences.
Multi-Media Services
The library offers multimedia resources such as audio and video recordings, electronic resources, and literature indexes. These services support diverse learning styles and provide access to a wide range of educational materials.
Readers Assistance
All faculty members and students are cordially invited to discuss their individual library needs and their problems with the Librarian on desk.
Research Assistance
Library research assistance is extended to the faculty members particularly in their preparation of syllabi and course outlines. Request for bibliographical listings are often provided to them in time of their needs. In addition, each college in the University are also given listings of new acquisitions for their specific subject field.
Referral Assistance
A referral letter is issued to a student/faculty member who wants to avail of the use of the library facilities and resources of other libraries which are not available at the libraries. The researcher is referred to the library of her/his choice. This service is extended upon request.
