The worldwide OER movement is rooted in the human right to access high-quality education. This shift in educational practice is not just about cost savings and easy access to openly licensed content; it’s about participation and co-creation. Open Educational Resources (OER) offer opportunities for systemic change in teaching and learning content through engaging educators in new participatory processes and effective technologies for engaging with learning.

PRIVATE EDUCATION ASSISTANCE COMMITTEE

The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) is a five (5)-member committee constituted to serve as trustee of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE), a permanent and irrevocable trust fund. The committee possesses powers and authorities enumerated under Executive Order (E.O.) No. 156, series of 1968, as amended.

This is the online version of the Philippine Journal of Science (Philipp J Sci or PJS)—an open-access, single-blind peer-reviewed journal on natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, and social sciences. PJS is published by the Department of Science and Technology (https://www.dost.gov.ph) and managed by Science and Technology Information Institute (https://www.stii.dost.gov.ph). 

SINAYA

Sinaya is an online, open-access, and peer-reviewed journal for senior high school teachers and students in the Philippines. It is a tri-annual and bilingual (in English and Filipino) journal with the following themes: 1) Humanities, Arts, and Education; 2) Science and Technology; and, 3) Social Sciences and Business. The journal accepts submissions all year round and does not charge any publication processing fees.
