MARAYUM 

MARAYUM is a free, community-driven online platform that empowers Philippine language communities to create and maintain their own dictionaries. Developed by the University of the Philippines Diliman and funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), it supports the preservation of endangered indigenous languages by enabling native speakers to contribute entries that are peer-reviewed by linguists. The platform currently hosts dictionaries for languages such as Asi, Cebuano, Kinaray-a, and Hiligaynon, with more in development. Accessible via desktop and mobile, Marayum fosters inclusive language learning and cultural preservation. 

Unite for Literacy Library

Unite for Literacy is a free online library offering over 500 digital picture books for young readers, each accompanied by audio narration in more than 40 languages, including indigenous and endangered ones. Accessible on any device without ads or login requirements, the platform promotes early literacy by celebrating diverse languages and cultures through engaging, narrated stories. 

Storyline Online 

Storyline Online is a free, Emmy® Award-winning children's literacy platform developed by the nonprofit SAG-AFTRA Foundation. It features celebrated actors—such as Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, and Michelle Yeoh—reading children's books aloud, accompanied by creatively produced illustrations. Each story includes a supplemental activity guide crafted by a credentialed elementary educator to enhance comprehension and verbal and written skills, particularly for English-language learners. Accessible 24/7 worldwide, Storyline Online serves as a valuable resource for parents, teachers, and caregivers aiming to inspire a love of reading in children. 

Canvas

CANVAS (Center for Art, New Ventures, and Sustainable Development) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting children's literacy and fostering a love for reading through art and storytelling. Their website offers a collection of beautifully illustrated, award-winning Filipino children's books available for free download in both English and Filipino. By purchasing a book through their partner site, Looking for Juan, you contribute to their "One Million Books for One Million Filipino Children" campaign, which donates two books to children in underserved communities across the Philippines.

OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

Launched in 1998, it offers nearly 200,000 entries and 50,000 topic summaries, complete with images, videos, and related articles, making it a valuable resource for students, researchers, and educators seeking reliable, citable information.
