CGP have published an extensive range of revision resources for the new specifications, they can be found at https://www.cgpbooks.co.uk/Parent/books_gcse_science
We recommend the complete revision and practice guides for the AQA specification:
Biology ISBN: 978 1 78294 583 3
Chemistry: ISBN: 978 1 78294 584 0
Physics: ISBN: 978 1 78294 585 7
Double (Combined): Bio topics - ISBN: 978 1 78294 586 4 Chem topics - ISBN: 978 1 78294 587 1 Phys topics - ISBN: 978 1 78294 588 8
There are two main things you need to do to revise science
1. Learn the facts: Use the following sources to help:
Our subject/unit pages (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Required practicals DOUBLE, Required practicals TRIPLE)
Seneca Learning online (a specification based set of online learning episodes which check your understanding as you work through them)
Complete the revision mats
Make mind maps/flash cards
Work books & revision guides
CGP online text book
Use the learning objective checklists to check what you know & what you need to work on.
2. Apply your knowledge: doing exam questions (there are full exam papers on the KS4 Science site, plus mini tests & mark schemes on the unit pages), teaching someone else.
See the Arden Science Web pages for more ideas and resources: Arden KS4 Science site
These sessions are supported by on-line resources, which should be completed before each revision session.
The resources and schedule will also be on the Arden Google Site.

Each exam is 100 marks and worth 50% of each GCSE.
Students are awarded 3 separate GCSE grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Combined (Double)
Students take 6 x 1h 15 min exams.
This is the Trilogy specification. There will be 2 papers for each of the 3 sciences.
Each exam is 70 marks and worth 16.7% of the qualification.
