ECT Pay

When you qualify and begin working as an ECT (early career teacher) in this region, you should expect to earn approximately £25,000 per annum. Your pay will rise annually on an incremental basis as per a school's appraisal system. Teachers can also take on additional Teaching and Learning Responsibilities (TLRs) which can come with an annual pay award of up to £13,000 p.a. (obviously the pay award depends on the TLR).
