We are looking for highly motivated trainees who are committed to working with young people in our schools. You must have an excellent subject knowledge but also the ability to deliver this in an engaging and creative way. Successful trainees on our programme will need to be reflective, resilient and able to respond positively to feedback. Trainees on our course will also need to be able to exhibit high levels of emotional intelligence and be real team players.
Selection Process
Application forms are considered by both the University and the individual schools involved with the Arden Alliance.
All successful applicants will be interviewed at their school of choice.
Applicants who demonstrate professionalism, commitment, a realistic understanding of the pressures of the course and the profession, an awareness of the school in which they are intending to train, creativity, organisational skills and a clear recognition of the need to synthesise practical and academic learning through refection are most likely to succeed.
