At Archbold Elementary School, we continue to encourage students to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe each and every day. Building-wide expectations have been established and are communicated to all of our students.
This year, we will continue to explore the 7 Mindsets: Everything Is Possible, Passion First, Attitude of Gratitude, Live To Give, We Are Connected, 100% Accountable, and The Time Is Now. Each month, we will focus on a different mindset and celebrate students who demonstrate the characteristics of each mindset on a daily basis. We are excited to focus on these positive attributes!

DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURE REMINDER
All incoming traffic to the school should enter at the southeast corner of the parking lot off Lafayette St. All cars will exit the northwest corner of the parking lot and proceed to Bluestreak Dr. to head north, or to Lafayette St. to head east. Orange cones and signs will be set up to guide one-way traffic through the lot. Cars should not exit onto Lafayette St. at the southeast corner of the elementary lot at any time during the school day.
DROP OFF PROCEDURE:
In order to keep our students who are dropped off safe, we have a designated “drop-off zone”. The drop-off zone will be between the two crosswalks in front of the school building. Students who are being dropped off will need to exit the car once it is in this zone in order to keep traffic flowing in the morning. Traffic cannot be backed up on Lafayette Street. If needed, parents should enter and park in the lot or go to the third row in the parking lot to drop off students. If dropping off in the third row, students should follow the marked area to the crosswalk.
PICK UP PROCEDURE:
Walkers and students getting picked up will exit the main front doors. Parents picking up student(s) will need to park in the parking lot and come to the front of the school to pick up their student(s) and get them safely across the crosswalk. There will be no curb-side pick-up allowed.
