Cece Harrs is a senior English major with a creative writing concentration. She enjoys reading and writing and watching dog videos.  Cece is the 2019 recipient of the Arcadia University Excellence in Creative Writing Award. 

Ryan Repholz is a Junior English and Education major. He enjoys reading and writing literature of all kinds.

Kapri Koflanovich is a Junior Integrated Marketing and Creative Writing Major with a Minor in Spanish. She is a Poetry and Fiction Co-editor for Quiddity and the Public Relations Officer for ASL Club. In her free time, Kapri loves reading, writing, and dancing. She hopes to work for a publishing company after graduation and eventually write her own book.  In addition to "Crosswinds," Kapri is responsible for the artwork that accompanies "Halfie" in this issue. 

Abigail Lodeweges is a Junior Accounting major; originally from Texas. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and painting miniatures used in playing table top war games.

Sierra Tufts-Sicard is a freshman English major in the Creative Writing Concentration and a Professional Writing minor. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing fantasy works. 

Marilyn Sieger is a writer from Arcadia University. 

Lashanna Bryant is an upcoming junior English and Media & Communications major. She writes for Because Arcadia, is an OL, works at the Office of Career Education and loves to write poetry and fiction. 

Frank Ur is a current senior at Arcadia University and will be graduating with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. He is currently finishing up his culminating manuscript, Fixing the Fractured, which focuses on topics relating to the gay male experience from coming out to societal expectations placed on gay men. He aspires to become a published writer in poetry and fiction, focusing on ideas surrounding homosexuality. In his jokingly small amount of spare time Frank finds solace in the outdoors as well as making connections with the people around him. 

Meg McGee is a Junior Creative Writing major at Arcadia University. Her poetry is often inspired by her friends and family, and she uses it as a way to pay tribute to those she has lost. When she is not writing poetry or short stories you can find her in Arcadia's radio booth, broadcasting her radio show Fandom Express with her friend and fellow co-host Cheyenne Baker. Meg is currently looking forward to completing a summer internship with the online micropublishing company, Grimdark Magazine.

Lily Keener is a senior French Studies major with a minor in International Studies. She is passionate about languages, history, and writing. Her preferred genres to write in are poetry and creative non-fiction, although someday she hopes to write and publish a fiction novel of her own.

Faith Roman is an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing. She is also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society. Creative non-fiction is her favorite genre to write, but fantasy novels tend to be her favorite to read. After graduation, she hopes to work as a writer in any way, shape, or form possible. When she's not reading or writing, she can usually be found holed up in her room playing video games.

Nina Violi is a first-year student majoring in Media and Communications. In her free time, she likes to write, sing, and listening to music.  She is responsible for the photographs accompanying the Editors' Note and "US North 95."  

Jess Derr is an English major from Willow Grove, PA. She's a Because Arcadia blogger, consultant at the Writing Center, freelance photographer, and member of the women's lacrosse team. Beyond writing and photography, her passions include dogs, sweatpants, and period dramas.  She is responsible for this issue's cover image, as well as the image accompanying "()."

Gyeongyeon Kim is from South Korea. She is double-majoring in English Language and Literature & Business. Currently she is enjoying her life in Paris.  She is responsible for the photographs accompanying "A High and a Low" & "Lettres à Paris."
