Vincent Sergiacomi is a senior English major at Arcadia University. He's been writing poetry for several years, and has been featured in Poetry Pacific, The Eunoia Review, the Moonstone Arts Center's New Voices anthology, and a past issue of Quiddity. Right now, he is focusing his style on creating concise and frank illustrations of emotionally weighted moments. When not writing poetry, Vincent enjoys going on walks, listening to music, and correcting typos on Wikipedia.

Jacki Ramirez is in her last year at Arcadia and has been writing poems ever since she can remember. She write in hopes that other Latinx people can read her work and find community in them. Her poem "Dame Mas Gasolina" shines light on her memories during Christmas time. 

Erica Bentley is a senior English major who will be graduating this May. She is inspired by the world around her and enjoys writing about various perspectives on pleasure, pain, and other reactions. Erica hopes to pursue a career in Publishing and/or art world soon.

Danita Mapes is a Junior Media and Communication major with a concentration in Multimedia Publishing.

Daijah Patton is a senior English/Creative Writing major, minor in Secondary Education and she has been writing poetry since she was in middle school. Poetry has been such a strong outlet for her, and she loves to share it with others by spreading awareness about important topics, and sharing her own personal stories. In her free time you will find Daijah either cooking/baking, reading several works of fiction and poetry, telling you crazy stories about her students, and giving you recommendations for any streaming TV Shows and movies to watch.  Daijah is the recipient of the 2022 Excellence in Creative Writing Award. 

Jewel Miller is a sophomore Media and Communications student with a concentration in multimedia publishing. She seeks to explore all things related to writing and photography throughout her time at Arcadia. In her free time, she enjoys watching good movies, spending time with her cat and dog, and arguing about books with her friends.  In addition to “What Monsters Lurk in the Shadows” and “Two Strangers in Vienna,” Jewel contributed this issue’s cover image, as well as the issues accompanying “Looking Glass,” “Lamplight,” “to the hippie that taught me how to play jazz,” “Showgirl,” “McDonald’s, or Not,” and “Antonio.” 

Sierra Tufts-Sicard is a senior English major in the Creative Writing concentration. She is also a professional writing minor. Her main passion is high fantasy, long-form fiction. However, poetry has slowly creeped its way into her repertoire and made a home to stay.

Jocelyn Royal is a second-year biology student at Arcadia University. She's in the pre-forensic science program; she wants to be a forensic lab analyst. Despite her scientific pursuits, she has a deep appreciation for literature and hopes to be able to pursue both academic and creative interests as she navigates through life.

Julianna Reidell is a first-year English and French major at Arcadia University. She has received gold and silver medals for her humor writing and poetry at the national level of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Her work can also be found in the magazines Teen Ink and Stone Soup, as well as on the teen comedy site The Milking Cat. One day, she'll write a novel.

Ryan Hiemenz is a Junior Media and Communications major with a minor in Creative Writing. He works for many different publications on and around Arcadia University, both writing and editing in various styles. This year, he is the president of Arcadia's English Honors Society, Sigma Tau Delta. More personally, he is a huge fan of all things horror, spending much of his free time watching, reading, and writing things from the genre. Over the summer, he even self published a horror poetry chapbook called Fearing Fiction, and he loves to build on the stories in that book!

Ryland McGinniss is a first-year History and English major with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. He loves to do advocacy work whenever he can, and honestly you'll probably see some of that reflected in his writing. When he's not busy with writing, he listens to music and one of his most prized possessions is his concert t-shirt collection.

Kyle Hiemenz is a senior at Central Bucks High School South. He spends his free time with his family or outside taking pictures of nature. His plan is to go to Moravian University this upcoming fall as a Photography major.

Carly Maloney is a Sophomore English major and a reader for Quiddity. She enjoys reading and occasionally writing, but also enjoys trying to be creative in day-to-day life. As someone who is very interested in editing, she is excited for the opportunity to read others’ writing, both creative and technical, fiction and nonfiction. She also enjoys art and music.  Carly contributed the images accompanying “Two Strangers in Vienna,” “The Curators,” “Pomegranate Seeds,” “Citrus,” and “Like You Always Said.” 

Joanne McGinniss is a junior at Reach Cyber Charter School with a strong passion for nature photography. She loves to travel and doesn't go anywhere without her camera. When she's not busy taking photos, you can probably find her in her room listening to the newest BTS song and trying to learn the lyrics.
