In prepares for winters come
There is much work left to be done
While rapids push you, pull you 'round
Get those sticks from 'pon the ground
Weave together like thread on loom
Craft yourself a cozy room
A tomb within which you shall hide
Until the winter calms its tide
Protection within the brush and thorn
A shelter from oncoming storm
A beauty within a dam is thee
A quiet in the deep blue sea
To hide away 'neath sticks and stones
A dam with which one can call home
On rivers 'cross the country found
Within which a beaver is safely bound
