Editor's Note

If you are reading this Editor’s Note, we congratulate you. For many a year, we’ve suffered under the impression that the Editor’s Note is honestly the bit of the magazine that everyone skips, but since this is our first issue as Editors in Chief, our Number One Agenda is to go rogue insert a bit more spice into these opening remarks.

With that said… Welcome to the 16th Annual Quiddity Games! We Reaped these pieces as punishment for the rebellion instigated by their creators and forced them to fight in a bloody arena for the contentment of the masses. Every piece you see in this issue ruthlessly slaughtered the rest of the competition to emerge as victors, primed for publication. We personally delighted in the spectacle of their suffering, content in our role as dictatorial leaders in this corner of the Quiddity multiverse. But if you think that was bad… just wait for the Quiddity Quarter Quell!

In all seriousness, however, our latest issue has our usual plethora of sophisticated, lively, and profound poetry and fiction. Whether in a bar on Greenwich Avenue, in the driver’s seat of a very special car, deep among the trees of a French forest, (or at the Capitol), we hope that you’ll find a way to lose yourself in the work of our very talented contributors. We want to thank everyone who submitted, particularly for the impressive number of art pieces received for this issue. The mix of art and photography balances the written works perfectly, and gives new life to the issue like never before.

Thank you all for your continued support for Quiddity, and happy reading!

May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor,
