Growth mindset: Today we read the story "A walk in the rain with a brain". This story was about Lucy who believes she is not very smart. Fred the brain explains that everyone is smart but just in their own unique way. We made our own brains either by drawing or using play dough. Next we wrote about our own strengths.
Today we made a cake cookie in a cup. We read the instructions and measured carefully. Next we described our cookie in a cup. Then we ate it. Yummy!
Today we read the story "Tiger". We made our own tiger/kitten out of leaves and wrote about it.

Today we made monsters. We will read with them everyday. We are going to look after them and bring them to school when we are back open! Kai pai everyone, such creativity. They look fab!
