You will leave Ushuaia heading east on National Route No. 3 and then take Route "J". Once on the coast of the Beagle Channel, preparations will begin to paddle in inflatable canoes towards Gable Island. Rubber boots, overpants, and life jackets will be used.
We will paddle along the channel just as the indigenous peoples did for thousands of years, until we reach our shelter on Gable Island.
Then, the hike begins to explore this uninhabited island, where we experience the true feeling of reaching the End of the World.
Along the way, we will find remains left behind by the Yámana people and the first settlers.
After the hike, a motorboat will take us toward Martillo Island. From the boat, we will observe penguins at their nesting site for about 20 minutes, and then we’ll continue navigating back to the mainland, where a vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Ushuaia.
