If you're taking a service-learning course, a Service-Learning Coordinator (SLC) will visit your class for an in-person orientation at the beginning of the semester. Check below for a quick overview of key information!

1) Fill out the Student Agreement Form. This should be done before starting the Service-Learning project.
2) Participate in the project!
3) Fill out the SL Reflection Form after course has been completed.
Disclaimers:
The project must be off-campus (community based; exceptions may apply) and unpaid.
If you have reached your service credit requirement, it is still mandatory you fill out a student agreement form.

Note: Credits will not be posted until a couple weeks after the semester ends, even if the Service-Learning project ends earlier. The only exception are seniors who are graduating that same semester (see section below).

- Go to home.apu.edu.
- On the left banner, click on the section titled "Service Credits."
Your credits will be posted under the project's class name and section.

- Student must complete the Graduating Senior SL Credit Clearance Form to get service credits posted early if they need the credits in order to graduate. Otherwise, credits will post after the term is over.
- Reminders will be emailed to all seniors in the middle of the term. Please submit the form before the deadline.
