Core Components 

Core Components of APU Community-Based Work Study:

1. APU students hired must have Federal Work-Study eligibility.

2. Work performed serves the public interest & meets needs in the community.

3. Work must not involve students in political or religious activities.

4. Students are hired as APU Student Employees and will submit timecards.

5. Each community site must have a designated supervisor.

6. Sites provide job orientation, procedures, & training for students hired.

7. All adhere to students' weekly hours agreed upon.
