Core Components of APU Community-Based Work Study:

1. APU students hired must have Federal Work-Study eligibility.

2. Work performed serves the public interest & meets needs in the community.

3. Work must not involve students in political or religious activities.

4. Students are hired as APU Student Employees, .

5. Each community site must have a designated supervisor.

6. Sites provide job orientation, procedures, & training for students hired.

7. Students and partners adhere to authorized FWS weekly hours.
