CAP collaborates with local nonprofits and community organizations to design and manage community-based Federal Work-Study opportunities for APU students. The program allows eligible students to earn wages for educational expenses through meaningful off-campus work, while providing community organizations with dedicated student support to advance their local service goals.

Students with Federal Work-Study eligibility listed in their financial aid package may apply for CAP positions.

Federal Work Study (FWS) is part of a student's financial aid package and can be found in the student's home portal under the Financial Aid summary. If eligible, FWS will be listed along with other aid such as scholarships, grants, and loans.

Graduate students eligible for Title IV aid who complete a FAFSA may request FWS eligibility through APU’s Student Services Center at ssc@apu.edu, as FWS is not automatically included in graduate aid packages.
