I have high expectations for all students (but I am flexible when necessary - don't worry). I'm trying to prepare them for high school and beyond.
I expect them to try their best and be productive - no excuses.
I expect 100% quality work - if it takes longer, that's okay with me, but I do enter "zero" when a task should have been finished - students can make up the zero any time. (Some students don't think an assignment is "real" until they see a zero in the grade book).
Our only enemy is time - when grades are due, I will submit them as they are.
