We will use technology tools to support learning and work to develop 21st century skills of collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. I encourage students to explore, be creative, take risks, and become more independent this semester.
Engaging students and guiding them into deeper learning experiences allows them to reach a higher level of their potential. With PBL, students are at the center of instruction and become independent workers and thinkers! They are given plenty of time and opportunities to finish tasks and do high-quality work.
We are currently using these tools:
GOOGLE CLASSROOM
Google Suite - Docs, Slides, Sites
Canva
Sketchup for Schools
All assignments are done in class, so students will have sufficient time to complete them as long as they are productive. Taking work home is a student choice; homework is rarely assigned. Projects, quizzes and tests will assess the skills we have covered.
Projects take time to complete, especially since they usually involve a learning curve, creativity, and attention to detail. In the end, each student should have a portfolio of work that represents his/her efforts. To succeed, you must: BE PRODUCTIVE.
