About my service dog, Beowulf... Fun facts: he is almost 4 years old and loves to play ball.
Dear all,
I wanted to let you all know that I will be bringing my service dog to school. Beowulf has been approved to be on campus with me from APS because of an ADA accommodation need. My service animal will be with me most of the time, will be on a leash, and will not disrupt campus. It is pertinent to note that he is not a pet and will not be allowed to play or be petted by students; he is fully trained to assist me with my disability. It is also important that students and adults not distract him when he is present.
If your child has an allergy to a dog, please let me know. We can work in a spacious space, and we can make sure the dog is not too near students with allergies.
