No racist, sexist, or homophobic remarks will be tolerated
No name calling or harassing
Bring all materials to class
Respect your personal area and the school area-keep it clean
Chromebooks need to come to class everyday, fully charged
Phones will not be allowed in class*

Attendance/Tardy Policy:
• It is important for you to be in class everyday and on time with your materials
• You are considered late if you are not in your seat by the time the tardy bell rings. If you come in after the first 20 minutes, you are considered late after tardy (LAT) which is considered an absence. If you are late, you miss important information and instruction. Avoid these issues and BE ON TIME.
• If you have an excused absence it is your responsibility to get in touch with the teacher to make up what you missed within one week of your absence, however, some work cannot be made up. Please check the website first.
• See your student handbook for more information on the attendance policy.
Classroom Routines:
Folders and Phones:
When you first come into the room, you will need to grab your folder and get out your book and a pen. I will start a timer for 5 minutes when the bell rings, and in that time all folders and SSR books should be out. Class will end 5 minutes before the period ends to give you time to put your folder away, neatly, and clean up your area. I have some other fun ideas for the first and last 5 minutes. Let me know yours.
Hall Passes
*Hall Passes are issued at the teacher's discretion (Official Franklin Hall Pass only-you fill it out and I will sign it.)
*Issued only after the first 15 minutes of class/not issued the last 15 minutes
*Only one student out at a time
*Issued for a quick trip directly to and from your destination, 5 or so minutes
REQUIRED MATERIALS/SUPPLIES: You will need the following supplies for this class—
A blue or black ink pen to write with (no pencils)
