Grade 5

Art in fifth grade is where students know and understand the full range of the Elements and Principles of Art; incorporating them in class discussions and merging a variety of them within their work. Students use their voice and style to create works of art that represent who they are and share their visual voice with the world around them. Landscapes, portraits, sculpture, and photography are all explored, leaving us with a fantastic time in the art studio as we see the full growth of a students body of work.

Students Explore:

  • Drawing and Painting

  • Portraiture

  • Clay Techniques

  • Digital Art

  • Landscape

  • Printmaking

  • Sculpture

  • Photography
