Grade 3

Art in third grade continues to build and merge art techniques and the Elements and Principles of Art together. Students start to find their voice within their art and continue to make meaningful choices with media. Landscapes, portraits, and non-objective art give way for students to understand and study why artists choices create their own "style" within a work.

Students Explore:

  • Drawing and Painting

  • Portraiture

  • Clay Techniques

  • Digital Art

  • Landscape

  • Printmaking
