Science

The Science department offers a variety of courses to best serve each students interested and future plans.  Courses are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to prepare students for the Next Generation Science State Assessment taken in grade 11.  It is recommended that students take Physical Science in grade 9, Biology in grade 10 and Chemistry in grade 11. Each student, with the assistance of his/her school counselor and parents, should select a series of science courses that meets the requirements below and best serves his/her interests and plans.
