You have probably heard kids saying 6 7 way toooo much to not get it stuck in your head! 6 7 is a meme from Youtube that has become very popular amongst children. This meme originates from the famous 24 year-old basketball player Lamelo Ball, currently at the club Charlotte Hornets, in North Carolina. Now, the world famous meme, 6 7, comes from Skrilla’s song, Doot Doot (6 7), referring to Lamelo’s height, 6’7. After that song, a child named Maverick Trevillion, did a post saying 6 7 while moving his hands up and down, which is why everyone is saying 6 7 and copying the action! Other people also say that it is a shortcut that Lamelo Ball uses to tell other players and opponents to ‘move away’, while others say that it is saying ‘so-so’ with your hands and saying 6 7 as in a 67/100 match score for Lamelo. Moreover, others say it just means nothing and that it is very cringe that children are saying this! Otherwise, it doesn't mean anything bad so there is no reason why people should not say this other than it being very silly and strange. However, some people do find it annoying so maybe try not to exaggerate by saying this way too much as to make it irritating!
