2010年(民國99年間)吳吉助校長時規劃游玉英校長執行，由敬卿建築師事務所林順孝建築師設

計規劃，緣起本校位於東北部，冬季東北季風期，長達半年雨季加上本校室內無完善之體育設備供學生於課堂上使用；為考量在天候不佳的情形下，師生從事各項體育活動皆可風雨無阻，正常使用，遂於校園内規劃風雨操場，設計重點為半開放空間，不僅在教學方面,提供學生良好學習環境，另一方面，提供當地喜愛運動之民眾，於放學及週休假日14:26 提供不受天候影響之活動空間，成為具有教育理念的學習空間與校園社區結合的公共活動空間，突顯本校指標性特色及地標性象徵，促進校園環境與社區共生共融之發展。

Introduction:

In 2010, planned by Principal Wu, Ji-zhu and carried out by Principal You, the Court was designed by Architect Lin, Shun-shao of Jing Qing Architect Office.Since the school is located in Northeastern Taiwan,during the northeast monsoon season in winter, it can rain regularly for up to six months. Furthermore, the school had no complete PE equipment for students. The school decided to build an indoor playground so that both teachers and students could play sports rain or shine without difficulties. The key point for the design was that it should be a semi-open space. It not only provides a good learning environment for students, but also provides an all-weather activity space for those that enjoy playing sports in the area after school or on weekends. This place is both a learning space that presents the school's education philosophy and a public activity space that combines the campus with the community. It manifests the iconic features of the school and its landmark symbol and enhances the symbiosis and communion between the school and the community.
