2016年(民105年)游校長時規劃，由王校長執行修建彩虹跑道，由高志榮建築師設計規劃，因瑞中位處雨區、多雨潮濕，跑道共8層可透水結構，雨后可迅速排水提高使用效率，號稱東北角會呼吸的跑道。

Introduction: In 2016, Principal You planned to renovate Rainbow Tracks during Principal Wang's term. The renovation was designed by Architect Gao, Zhi-rong.

Because RFJH is located in a sub-tropical area, it rains a lot and is humid. There fore, the tracks contain eight layers of permeable structures so that, after the rain, the tracks rapidly drain water, thus enhancing their utility. As a result, the tracks are also referred to as the breathable tracks of Northeastern Taiwan.
