Welcome to 2025-2026 school year! My name is Mrs. Redd and I will be your child’s 2nd grade teacher! This will be my 10th year teaching at Shelton View Elementary, go Sharks! I will be returning from maternity leave in February, following mid-winter break. This is going to be a wonderful year full of learning and fun!

About me
About me
I grew up just a few towns away and love living in this area near my family. My husband, Dylan, and I recently welcomed our son, Ky, who made his appearance this summer. We also have two cats, Mowgli and Gracie. I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Literacy. This is my 10th year teaching, and during that time I’ve taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 2nd grade EAP. I aim to build a classroom where students feel comfortable, challenged, and ready to grow. In my free time, I enjoy baking, spending time with my extended family, and exploring new places.
