High Noon for Assessment - April 7-11, 2025
Department Assessment Coordinators support the assessment efforts of their department and serve as a liaison between their department and CART. Essential functions are as follows:
Provide assessment leadership in the department by regularly reporting assessment results and holding assessment discussions at department meetings, sharing information about best practices and assessment events, and actively participating in DAC meetings in order to shape college assessment programming.
Coordinate the department’s course assessment program by supporting the development of meaningful course assessment, encouraging the use of common course assessment, ensuring faculty course leads complete their assessment reports, and maintaining the Department Assessment Plan.
Support the co-curricular, program, and institutional assessment activities of the college as they pertain to the department, specifically, serving as a resource for faculty participating in institutional assessment and assisting program directors and club advisors in their assessment reporting.
