Programs and Services

The goal of EL instruction in Osseo Area Schools is to support students in achieving the English language proficiency needed to succeed academically and to realize personal, social, and career goals.  We use research-based instructional practices, advocate for full access to all curricula areas, and actively ensure that multilingual learners are taught in a positive and inclusive learning environment where we recognize students’ languages and cultures as an asset. We promote shared responsibility among educators to meet the needs of multilingual learners.
