The advanced placement (AP) Program
The Advanced Placement (AP) program is offered by the College Board which offers college-level curriculum and exams to high school students. AP exams are given each May to students who register and have taken an AP course. AP exams are scored 1-5. Students who score a 3 or higher are typically eligible to earn college credit. Park Center offers nine AP courses.

Students that plan to take an AP exam MUST complete the following steps.
Create a College Board Account (if you have questions or issues, please contact the College Board at 1-888-225-5427.)
Join their AP Course in College Board
Register to take AP exam(s)
Make payment online via EduTrak (formerly FeePay) or drop cash/check/moneyorder off at OALC front desk.
IMPORTANT: Students that qualify for free/reduced lunch can receive a fee waiver for the entire cost of all AP exams. The Meal Assistance Application needs to be completed every fall.
