Playworks

The Thomas Lake Parent Committee is thrilled to partner with the school to fund Playworks for the '22-'23 school year! 

Playworks is a non-profit organization that partners with schools to improve academic engagement, grow life skills, and build inclusive cultures through play.

Schools that have Playworks: 

• Report students are better able to focus in class

• Believe Playworks creates opportunity for inclusion

• See improvement in the overall school culture

• Save time transitioning from recess to learning

• See a significant reduction in bullying and exclusionary behavior
