Your employer or business may be able to help support the TLPC!
The Thomas Lake Parent Committee is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching our school community. Wondering how you can support the TLPC and make an even bigger impact? Ask your employer's Human Resources or Community Relations department if they offer any programs that would help support the TLPC's work:
Matching Gifts: Many employers will match their employees' donations to nonprofit organizations.

Volunteer Grants/Dollars for Doers: Some employers donate to nonprofits where their employees volunteer or serve on the board.
Paid Time Off: Some employers pay their employees for time off spent volunteering.
Giving Campaigns: Employers may sponsor giving events that allow employees to donate to nonprofits through one-time or recurring payroll deductions.
Direct Donations: Businesses can donate items or services to the TLPC. Examples include meals or gifts for Thomas Lake staff, raffle items for TLPC fundraisers, and supplies or prizes for TLPC events.

Check Employer Match: Your employer's HR or Community Relations department will be able to tell you whether they offer donation matching and what their policy and process is.
Donate: Depending on your employer's specified process, make a donation through their portal or directly to the TLPC. Be sure to keep your receipt as a record of the transaction. The TLPC can provide a donation letter upon request.
Request Match: If needed, submit a matching gift request to your employer.
Verify: Your employer may confirm the donation with the TLPC. They can follow up with the TLPC Treasurer, if needed.
Follow-Up: If you don’t hear back, check with your employer's HR or Community Relations team.
Show Gratitude: Thank your employer for their contribution!
Tax Info: The TLPC is a 501(c)(3) organization so your donation may be tax-deductible, but the matched amount is not.
